Midterm

Audio, what we listen to and when we choose to is a tool we use to set a mood. However audio is not limited to music only. Audio is used in a large amount of none music related situations, and its importance is all the same. This is shown in Andrews work Sound Effect Story



This video indicates several different usage of audio and how it is used to attract us as the listener into the situation at hand. Though audio is often miss interpreted to solely being just an additive to what ever visual it is bolstering, i do not think that. i believe that audio play's an even larger role in how we see things then we comprehend. the amount of audio work that goes into even the smallest of parts is so finally toned that i interpret a large emphasis on the mater. In a sound engineers work place it can be best seen to the scope that audio is controlled through there equipment.

looking in to the digital art that Ds106 has suggest i have taken this opportunity to combine 3 individuals into a signal image. Guess whom said the quote, and no don't type it into google. :P good luck!

Movie

all movies teach us a value's and lesson's, guess the movie and learn the lesson. learning how to join the ds106 plz enjoy.

Group work

7 hours later..... with another beer in hand and only half a video edited and prepared, i began to think that my group was conspiring agents me. when i thought there was nothing left when there was no more time, my team replayed videos attached! This lead to another four hours of editing and repeted slaming of ones head to come up with the video that we have here.

I played the role of both script, and video editor i relayed on Erin to ride people into submitting there works to me, and to get people on Skype to talk about it. my group had me a little worried with passed deadlines and shake alibis when push came to shove we got the work needed done. i over all enjoyed the work and had fun making the video lost myself in thought of how to make it "cool" though the video is shake it is a testimony to the very topic that we are disusing, "ART" this video is art in its own form and the internet has made it so that we can share and spread our ideas!

The World Around us

What dose it take to take people into an new era? all it takes is a spark, an idea, when ideas are formed and nurtured they can then take root and spread throughout the minds of others. Tim Berners Lee had one such idea, To connect people via a World Wide web. In 1990 the first HTTP communications using an Hypertext Transfer Protocol using the internet. With Tim's idea tested and functional he wanted to do more with it. looking for a way to connect his hypertext to the Transmission Control Protocol, then to add a domain naming system he could then create the World Wide Web. aka (WWW). With another year of preparations the first ever website was put online, August 6, 1991.(http://info.cern.ch/) This could have been seen as a revolutionary advancement in human communication and networking. Tim then choose to give his creation to the people of the world for free. this choice has then proceed to globalize the world and is still doing so today.

The first and foremost

Well today is the day that i set out on my blogging adventure. I would be a lire if i were to say that i was looking forward to this, however i do wish to see how the community response to something that a 22 year old collage student has to say.
Well time for introductions i am Zachary E. Jonas, i am from Miami Beach Florida, i am a collage student in Temple university and have been living in Japan for the last 3 years.
i pride myself on all i have done n my life and have tried to do everything from hiking the Alaskan plains, to exploring the culture of the European world. Do to my family i have had a rich cultural upbringing and have lived through more adventures then most people get too.
Though i don't know what to blog about i guess i can just let things out that i would like to say! well i am looking forward to the coming months and am willing to take on questions about anything.
